Shrimp Burger with Avocado Aioli - Wine Dine With Jeff

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 pound deveined and shelled raw shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons of grapeseed oil for frying
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger minced
  • 1 large garlic clove minced
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon of fish sauce
  • 2 scallions minced or small shallot
  • 1 Fresno Chili seeded and diced small
  • 1/3 cup of fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lime
  • Salt to taste
  • Avocado Aioli Ingredients
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/4 cup of greed yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon of sambal (chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon of Fresh Lime juice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • 1. For avocado aioli in food processor add avocado, yogurt, sambal, cilantro, and lime juice blend together into puree and add salt to taste
  • 2. in food processor add 1/2 the shrimp with ginger, garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, 1/2 of the cilantro, and fresh lime with salt and pepper blend shrimp to a paste.
  • 3. The rest of the shrimp cut into small bite size pieces add salt .
  • 4. mix shrimp paste with shrimp bites and add rest of cilantro, scallions, Fresno red chili.
  • 5. Make 4 shrimp patties and place in fridge for 30 minutes to set.
  • 6. Fry shrimp burgers in grape seed oil 4 minutes on both sides until cooked through.
